Cultivated Cocktails is a small craft distillery located in Asheville, NC. We are a family owned distillery, responsible for Asheville’s very first rum and gin. We now offer a variety of different spirits which we sell out of our two locations and distribute through ABC across NC, and additionally are available in 28 states.

Our mission is to take our customers through the Cultivated lifestyle from grain to garnish. We utilize our downtown space as a way to taste and to teach. We show people how to create amazing cocktails with our own local spirits, and other craft mixers, bitters, and ingredients that we sell out of our space.

Bottle/Retail/Bar– Our downtown location is a bit of a hybrid cross between a bar and a retail store. The position will include both retail sales and bartending. All of our staff is provided bar training as well to better be able to assist our customers and to assist fellow team members to keep up during high volume periods throughout a shift.

As a team member at Cultivated Cocktails you will create an immersive experience for each customer as you showcase our spirits through tastings and through the introduction of cocktail recipes and with knowledge of ingredients we sell. You will work collaboratively with our other team members to ensure every guest is taken care of and provided an exceptional experience.

You will be responsible for building relationships with customers and promoting our brand image. You should have good people skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Our ideal candidate should be highly organized, with a love for craft beverage. This opportunity will require being available to work at both our locations.

Responsibilities:

Handle cash register and credit transactions
Ensure each counter and workspace is fully stocked and neatly arranged
Provide customers with information regarding products and shipping options (online or in-store)
Maintain inventory of stock, ensuring that all items have proper tags and are undamaged
Assist customers with questions about products or other items
Assist customers in finding items based on beverage preferences
Be knowledgeable of all products from Distillery and able to present a tasting to guests
Ability to be proactive and help your team with daily tasks
Ability to perform basic to mid-level bar tasks. **Bar/cocktail experience not required, training will be provided.**

Ability to take food orders in a counter style manner

Physical Demands:
Ability to lift and/or move up to 45 pounds
Ability to tolerate long periods of being on their feet
