Now part of PCC's Engineered Products Division, University Swaging is a unique machining, swaging, and assembly center providing the industry's most technologically advanced structural and kinematic control rod assemblies, flight control mechanisms, and swaged cable assemblies. Founded in 1947, the company was purchased by Primus in 2000, and before the close of the decade, expanded more than twofold into a new 110,000 square foot facility. The company's success can be attributed to continuity of leadership and a strong vision for growth of capabilities and products. Today the site benefits from shared opportunities and cooperation with KaliStrut Aerospace, which has also maintained a leading market position in the area of metallic rods for more than 35 years. Position Summary:

Performs manual and clerical shipping duties. Uses computer/MRP to track, log, verify, and report. Follows shipping practices and procedures, transportation routing, schedules, and related requirements. Receives incoming materials/prepare materials for shipment. Verifies quantity, weight, and material conformance to stated identifications. Logs receipts into system, process freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents. Reports materials shipped and bills of lading. Posts weight and shipping charges and routes goods.

Shift:

Monday-Friday, 6am-2:45pm

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare flight-packages parts, kits, and materials for shipment
• Stage and prepare shipping materials, crates, and pallets
• Prepare non-flight goods
• Prepare shipping paperwork including verifying documentation, packaging conformance to product requirements, shipper manifests, and bills of lading
• Complete shipping/receiving reports
• Support audits, lean, and quality initiatives as required
• Familiarize oneself with University Swaging processes and procedures including applicable MRP, Inventory System, and Business Quality Management (BQMS) procedures as applicable
• Wear and maintain PPE as required
• May occasionally perform special projects
• Other duties as assigned

• Good computer skills
• Maintain staging areas, packaging areas, and loading docks in a clean, orderly manner
• Basic English language skills and ability to read, follow, and interpret planning and work order instructions
• Attention to detail
• Ability to professionally communicate and work cooperatively with others
• Willingness to learn and support training of others

Required Experience and Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Entry level role, no experience required
